Joe Macleod is a British photographer based in Sweden, capturing landscapes, cityscapes, portraits through long exposure, night photography, and infrared light.

His practice echoes themes of grief, departure, and closure—mirroring his pioneering design work on endings as the author of Ends and Endineering. Supported by his role as a Design Council Expert, BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations) member, former D&AD Judge, and UK Design Industry Advisor. His photography applies abstraction of light and duration. Occasional rigorous structural perspective too the quiet decay of atmosphere, light, and life.
